The Makita DDF458 18v is a heavy-duty drill driver. This would be used by trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts. It has 21 torque settings allowing for precise screwdriving and a drill only mode. The drill only mode disengages the clutch for heavy duty drilling. With an overall length of just 225mm and a maximum torque of 91Nm, it really does have an impressive size to power ratio. It has a 2-speed gearbox box for screwing and drilling, a rubber bumper and moulded handle. The rubber bumper and rubber moulded handle are for better grip and protection, and an extended removable side handle giving the user greater control under load.
