MAKITA INTRODUCES THE NEW CORDLESS BRUSHLESS MILLER
Makita has introduced a brand new high power cordless milling machine. The RP001G 40VMax XGT ½" Brushless Plunge Router is an excellent combination of high efficiency and lightweight construction, can mill 80m of MDF panels on a single charge and has exceptional plunging capacity up to 60mm.
Compact and lightweight, the new RP001G is ergonomically designed for greater comfort and ease of use, weighing only 4kg (with 5.0Ah Li-lion battery) and a compact height of 294mm. The brushless motor design reduces friction, resulting in increased runtime and performance, and the output power reaches 1900W, allowing the user to work for long periods of time.
The RP001G also features a soft start function and an electronic brake that limits kickback to prevent damage, while constant speed control reduces the chance of cutting speed reduction, maintaining a clean cut on the workpiece. Its 3-stage depth limiter allows the user to quickly switch between pre-set depths for efficient work, while the micro-cut depth can be adjusted in 1mm increments, ensuring the cutting depth remains accurate and precise. The tool also comes with a useful dual LED work light for better illumination when working on detailed projects.
The RP001G features Makita AWS Bluetooth technology and can be connected wirelessly to Makita AWS-enabled vacuum cleaners to keep your work environment clean and safe. Milling unit is compatible with 12 mm or 1/2" collet chuck.
